Our venerable Modified D Steel receives several upgrades with this brand-new model! Borrowing from its successful cousin, the shape remains familiar and comfortable in the hand with a large gate opening and several locking options.
What's new is:
- A keylock nose & gate to keep the carabiner from snagging on slings and gear
- Several models are now available with ANSI & CSA Certification for industrial safety use!
Each carabiner is built from heat-treated steel, plated with zinc-chromate for maximum corrosion resistance and subjected to dozens of internal safety checks (including being individually proof-loaded to 25.5kN) before it ever leaves our plant.
Rated to 51kN, the Modified D Steel Keylock in 7/16" is available in Bright, Black and Gold.
Available in Captive Eye versions for OEM applications, as well.
